August 8, 2024 - BYD has officially launched the Sealion 6 DM-i Super Hybrid in Thailand, marking a significant entry into the local market with this C-SUV plug-in hybrid. Initially, the vehicle is available in a single variant, the Dynamic model, priced at ฿939,900.


Specifications


The BYD Sealion 6 DM-i is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 218 horsepower. The vehicle can travel up to 95 km on electric power alone, according to the NEDC standard. It features a BYD Blade Battery with a capacity of 18.3 kWh.


- Dimensions: The Sealion 6 measures 4,775 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 180 mm and a trunk space ranging from 425 to 1,600 liters when the rear seats are folded.

- Performance: The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and supports AC charging up to 6.6 kW and DC charging up to 18 kW.

- Exterior Features: The Sealion 6 comes with LED headlights, daytime running lights, and a panoramic sunroof. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels.
