Toyota Laos has launched the all-new Vios in Laos. The new Vios (aka Yaris Ativ in Thailand) is the first left-hand drive version of the Yaris Ativ. Laos becomes the second market to receive the new model. The new Yaris Ativ was earlier premiered in Thailand in August 2022.
The new Vios in Laos received a different powerplant than it's counterpart in Thailand. It is fitted with 1.3 liter 1NR-VE engine which produces 98 PS and 122 Nm of torque. Two types of transmission are available; 5-speed manual and CVT.
The new LHD Vios is sourced from Toyota Motor Thailand.
