December 7th, 2022, Tela Thailand has officially announced the launch of its Model 3 compact sedan and Model Y compact SUV at the Siam Paragon Bangkok. The company has started accepting customer's order from today onward.
It is expected that Tesla's first batch to Thailand will be around 1,500 units and delivery will commence during February 2023.
Both Model 3 and Model Y will be sourced from China in Complete Build Up (CBU) form.
Currently, Tesla Thailand has not announced how many Tesla Flagship stores there will be in the country. However, it has been confirmed that there will be a total of 10 locations for Tesla's Super Fast Charge stations located throughout Bangkok area.
