Vinfast, a Vietnamese EV automaker, has announced that the company would start shipping around 5,000 units of its electric vehicles to the US, Canada and Europe during November 2022. Global deliveries will commence a month later.
On September 10th, the company has delivered its first international model, the VF8 compact SUV, to its customers at its factory in Haiphong. Vinfast claimed that the VF8 has a range of approximately 470 kilometers.
The company claimed that it has plan to set-up an EV manufacturing plant in North Carolina and production is expected to start during 2024.
